Each year, the Saugeen Hospice Annual Garage Sale brings together hundreds of community members with one shared purpose—to help bring compassionate hospice residence care closer to home

Made possible by generous donations and an incredible team of volunteers, the Garage Sale has become one of Saugeen Hospice's signature fundraising events. Thousands of donated items are given a second life while raising funds that support the construction and future operation of our hospice residence.

Planning for the next Annual Garage Sale is already underway. Event dates, donation drop-off information, volunteer opportunities, and shopping hours will be announced here as soon as they have been confirmed.

How It Works

Our community donates thousands of gently used items throughout the Garage Sale campaign. Volunteers then spend countless hours collecting, sorting, organizing, pricing, and displaying those donations to create an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone who attends.

When the sale opens, shoppers can browse an amazing selection of quality items at affordable prices, knowing every purchase supports Saugeen Hospice. It's a true community effort—from the first donated box to the last item sold.

How You Can Help

There are many ways to become part of this incredible fundraiser.

Donate

When donation dates are announced, consider donating quality household items that are clean, complete, and in good condition. Every donation helps raise funds for hospice care.

Volunteer

Whether you can help for a few hours or several days, volunteers are the heart of the Garage Sale. Opportunities include collecting donations, sorting merchandise, setting up displays, assisting shoppers, and helping with cleanup.

Shop

Come out during the sale to discover great bargains while supporting an important community cause. Every purchase helps bring compassionate end-of-life care closer to home.
